The fountain shown is a prominent feature in the town's High Street and is in fact referred to in the map shown on the link 'How to find us.' The town centre is now pedestrianised and is a pleasant place to stroll unhindered by traffic. To the right and left of the fountain are the facades of the old County and Kings Arms Hotel which played host to 'Bonnie Prince Charlie' and the infamous William Hare one of body snatchers of Burke and Hare notoriety.
