How to find Landscapes Art Gallery and a note from the artist
I hope you enjoyed your tour of my gallery and must thank the web-designer Jim Bell not only for his skill in setting up the site but his patience in showing me how to manage the site effectively. It is quite an exciting prospect to know that my work can be viewed virtually anywhere in the world at the touch of the button. If nothing else it will give added exposure to that part of Scotland so dear to my heart and hopefully through my interpretation of its landscape bring fond memories to those privileged to have walked it shores. Dumfries & Galloway has its own charm, its own history and some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. I must also convey thanks to Scottish Enterprise Dumfries & Galloway (SEDG) and South of Scotland European Partnership (SOSEP) for their advice and financial support. To find Landscapes Art Gallery is easy. Situated near the oldest working theatre in Scotland, 'The Theatre Royal', it is only a five-minute walk from Burns House and the Town Centre of Dumfries. Deceptively small in appearance the gallery has on display a good variety of original paintings, poetry and prints depicting the beautiful landscape of South West Scotland. Close to ample car-parking space the gallery is also used as a working studio and many of the paintings on show have been completed on the premises. Whether you are looking for an original painting of quality or simply to acquire a lasting memento of the Dumfries and Galloway area, why not pop into the gallery for a browse, you will not be disappointed. If you have enjoyed the 'virtual tour' of the gallery why not share the experience, e-mail a friend and ask them to 'Log on to Landscapes'.
